You fumble through life sometimes really thinking your life sucks. I spoke with a friend of mine today. His wife had been experiencing pain in her lower back and her legs. None of the doctors that she went to for over two years could find out what was wrong with her. Then out of the blue it was determined that the medicine they had her on was the culprit.

She had bad hips for whatever reason but that never slowed her down when she was doing projects on their farm. At one point they had a garden that was 200 ft by 100 ft. granted they had a tractor but it still took a lot of work to keep it weeded, watered and then picked before the critters could get to it. When the pain got too bad they switched to growing what they needed out of raised beds instead and then moving the plants to a green house during the winter. She finally got to feeling better after having one hip done and this year she got the other one taken care of. I know she had to be in high cotton thinking of all the things that she could do once she got her strength built back up. She is only 60 years old. She recently found out that she has lung cancer, stage 4. My friend sounded lost on the phone today. I haven’t ever been in this situation but I felt his pain none the less. He was getting ready to retire from the freight hauling business and move on to doing projects on their farm. They are trying an experimental treatment because surgery is not an option. The doctors give her 4 months. So now do you think your life sucks?
